Covenants in new building construction are legally binding agreements that are made between the developer or builder and the buyer or homeowner. They specify the rules, regulations, and restrictions that govern the use and maintenance of the property, as well as the rights and responsibilities of the parties involved.

The purpose of covenants is to help maintain the appearance and value of the property, as well as to ensure that the community remains a pleasant and attractive place to live.
